What is the difference between "scene beat" and "continue writing"?

When you type / into the write interface, two scene beat options appear.

Functionally, the only difference between the two is that “continue writing” is prepopulated with an instruction to continue the story. This would be used by writers who want the LLM to continue writing without further guidance from the author.
