What does a number + B mean when next to an AI model?

This value represents the number of parameters that a model has been trained on; 7B stands for 7 billion, 70B 70 billion, etc.

Usually, the more parameters a model has been trained on, the better the model is (when a model is designed to fill lots of functions).
