When you have questions or need help with the app, here are a few common options to get you started:
AI features are not available in the Scribe plan. Please make sure that you are subscribed to the correct plan that includes the AI feature that you want to use.
In order to keep pricing as low as possible for users, Novelcrafter only offers integrations with AI vendors or services. A subscription does not offer any AI credits or usage on its own.
To use AI, you will need to connect to an external vendor, or run a local model. Most users connect to OpenRouter for the most flexibility, ease of use and access to popular models like OpenAI's GPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google Gemini and more.
If you see a message that you are out of AI credits, it means that you have reached the limit of the credits for the AI provider you are using.
For OpenRouter, you can purchase more credits directly from the OpenRouter website: Manage Credits.
Sometimes, certain AI services may experience downtime or issues. If you encounter any issues with the AI, please try again later.
