Why can't I make a chapter summary?

Within Novelcrafter, chapters are containers that can be utilised by our users for more than simply novel writing.

As a chapter can include changes of POV, or multiple shorter scenes, having one overarching summary is not always helpful.

If you only have one scene in your chapter, then the scene summary doubles up as your chapter summary. If you have multiple scenes in a chapter, the individual scene summarise comprise the chapter’s summary.

If you are having issues with super long summaries that fill up the AI context, consider condensing them to the essential/key points.
