Labeling Scenes

You can tag, mark and label your scenes in various ways to help you organize your story.

Common types of labels are:

  • Status: Draft, Outline, Final, etc.
  • Temporal Setting: Past, Present, Future, etc.
  • Subplots: Romance, Mirror, Contrasting, Complicating, etc.

You can manage your labels in the Novel Settings, which you can open by clicking either on the name of your novel or the cog icon in the header.

Labels appear on the scene board cards in the Grid view and can be organized by when you’re in the Matrix view.
